yah he has been ass. so has every rookie QB this year. mac jones has been solid in a simple scheme and protecting the ball well but the talent is limited for sure. Tlaw, fields and wilson have all been bad and lance has barely played. davis mills has also been awful but he's a late pick in a bad spot

The other thing white has showed us, is all of us were concerned about not having a vet backup and thinking white was a body but the staff saw things we don't get to and white has proven that at worst, he is a damn good backup in the NFL.
I disagree. They wouldn't have traded for Flacco if they believed White (or Johnson) was a good backup. The reason these guys are on the team is because the front office believed nobody in the media (or the fanbase) would be screaming for them to play if Wilson performed poorly.
GMs don't care about media/fan pressure. No mater what you do you'll never please anyone. the trade for flacco was because they wanted someone to back up white who was better then johnson. JD even said that flacco was brought in to back up white
Trevor Lawrence has almost no help or weapons to bail him out. Our offense is much more talented than Jacksonville's. That said, Lawrence missed a couple of big throws Sunday, which included missing an easy 60 yard TD pass to a wide open receiver with a terrible overthrow, so he has had his struggles. The good news for us is there were guys getting open deep against Buffalo.
When asked if the HC would become more involved in the D-scheming and PC, our HC says the D-CS is doing a good job today... Let me repeat. he says the CS is doing a good job but could be better along with the players. Gents. I get covering for subordinates that maybe not performing well in public, but come on, to say they are doing a good job, when everyone knows that is baloney, is ridiculous. So if this D doesn't get better look for a new DC come January...
people naively assign a teams performance of the coach. imagine if Andy Reid fielded an offense that consisted of members of Gang Green? and Sam Darnold is just a bad cos of coaches never mind ignore list +1

Good question and frankly after seeing them both play this season, Zach Wilson. His ceiling is higher in my opinion. I would have been pressured to take Lawrence but likely would have regretted it, in my opinion.
Wow ...if you are right about Wilson I got a feeling we will get to see more TL playing this season than Zach So Trevor will have the sample size advantage atm
I would not be surprised if TL has issues moving forward with his ankle. He is battling an ankle injury right now.
Zach Wilson, all day, every day. By the end of last season, I was off the Trevor Lawrence bandwagon. I think he will wind up being the worst QB of Wilson, Fields, and Lance, and maybe even Jones. If Jacksonville builds a great team around him, like Clemson did, he could compile a lot of stats and the Jags win a lot, but I don't think he has the ability to make the players around him better. Unless his accuracy gets a lot better, I'm not sure if he will ever be a top 10 QB.
Yeah, I'm getting a Herm vibe with Saleh. We expected the offense to stink but not the defense. This was Saleh lane and it has looked awful every game.
Jets go from 2020, where they had a historically bad offense (with an offensive head coach), to 2021, where they have a historically bad defense (with a defensive head coach). Other than that, the future is looking bright.
