I think that the Pats are going to crush Oakland actually. The Raiders just don't have the secondary to keep up with New England's passing game.

Hopefully Oakland's running game and NE's lack of a defense will keep the Raiders on the field all day and Brady off of it.

No one is questioning the Pats O putting up points just the Pats D from stopping McFadden. A great run game that puts up points will keep Brady off the field as well.

Pats will be a shoot-out, Jet will be a grinder till the last second.

At the end of the day, few teams can keep up with the Pats in a shoot-out and in addition, the Pats are playing with a chip on their shoulder from last week. I think the Jets will pull out a close one tonight if they contain Rice and get some decent push from the OL and run game.

me too, I really wanna see Ellis in tonight. He was beastin' in the preseason (even if it was just that). Still, it provides some much-needed relief on the d-line which can't pressure squat right now.

Ellis is inactive again. Obviously his technique is just not up to NFL speed. Some time around midseason I think we will start seeing him active.

The other thing that makes it hard is how well Ropati and Dixon are playing. If they only want to have 6 dl up, who are you deactivating? It would be a guy you know can contribute for someone who hasn't proved it at the NFL level yet.

True that. Hopefully by midseason he is ready to contribute I think his "big" presence will help against the run

no Knock on the OP but every week we say " if we can just stop this guy". Theres never been an NFL game in which that was true.

We've failed to stop Ray Rice. We've also failed to gain a yard of offense.
