Stop Blitzing

    Mixing of coverages will come when Revis in 100%. Our secondary will be average until that happends. I like the way they are playing but Revis changes what we can do and he is not himself yet.

    If you're going to run a 1-gap aggressive defense with lots of blitzing and single coverage on the outside you need to expect that you're going to give up a few big plays; it's just the nature of the beast.

    The 3-4 defense is all about confusion. If everyone shows they are blitzing and blitzes it's been giving us a mound of bodies in one area. Maybe Show it and drop a few back. The QBs have been getting quick throws out so if we dropped a few linebackers maybe a nickel CB into a zone it should result in more coverage which means more blown passes, ints, and at worse quick tackles. Sometimes it would be good to blitz everyone sometimes we need to show blitz and back off. Confusion is a good thing.
