    One flaw in your theory

    The green of the pants should've stood out against the white of the out of bounds and therefore made the call easier for the ref. Now if the ref had a phobia about green pants or just hated them then you might be on to something :)

    The white on white is pure class. Especially when it gets muddy, and the black cleats turn as brown as the pants.

    I was psyched to see the green pants, as the white on green uni's are IMO the best in the NFL, green on green is awesome too. We are Gang Green, show some green! Especially on the road when we where white from head to toe looking like ghosts.

    Our overall record w/ green pants is better than our overall with white pants since 2002 when they were introduced. BUT, since 2002, I'm pretty sure the jets have lossed every game the first time they where them in the season.

    Here's a funky stat.

    The Green Pants were introduced in 2002 Vs. The BROWNS. We lossed 24-21 after leading 21-3 at the half, and getting a final FG attempt blocked.

    And now, as they are reintrouced to 06, we lose to the Browns again.
