Well,I've changed my tune a bit from the 1st round. We got 3 solid guys to built on. The only thing is,are we still gonna go with Curtis as our starting RB?

Great Draft so far......I'm lovin every minute of it.

Finally a FO doing the right things. Making moves and building a winner one piece at a time.

I agree that we got 3 solid guys and I think we will still go with Curtis as the starting RB and they'll address that next year. With an very much improved OL I think Curtis can still get between 1100 & 1300 yards. Maybe its wishful thinking on my part but he did have over 750 yrds on a bum leg and terrible OL last year!:martin: IMO

I think that not only will Curtis start, but he will be a great thing for our younger O-linemen to have. An instinctive veteran workhorse who knows how to choose his holes. Curtis has lost a step, and no one knows how much he has left in his tank, but he is a hell of an example for the rookies to have on the team.

Performance-wise, I think that while Curtis will start all games, he will share a significant amount of carries platooning with Houston and Blaylock. Not drafting a RB immediately isn't going to kill us. They are one of the few positions that can make significant contributions immediately, and waiting a year to address the position for the future isn't going to doom the franchise. I actually think it makes more sense.

Calhoun I don't think will make it out of the second round ... we are going to have to move up if we want him.

I love it so far, even though I wish I knew more about Clemons (don't we all.) I am feeling a little concerned over the RB position, maybe that's coming at 71. But if we take another o-lineman there, or a CB/WR, I'll feel great about it just as well.

Kick ass draft so far. Let's keep it rolling with one of the good CB's left...
