Garappolo is no threat, come on. We heard all this nonsense about Mallet just a couple years ago, how he was the heir apparent.
Good points. As I recall, Bellicheck also sucked at the Browns. So getting that star QB was his keys to the kingdom along with a decent defensive scheme.
San Diego is a beautiful place if you have ever visited Cali. so weather won't be a factor. Neither will Jet Lag as teams usually get there a day or two ahead of contest. Kinda like taking a vacation IMO. Gut says Jets will be loosey, goosey and ready for this one.
Remember everyone in our division plays the same opponents and crazier shit has happened. Below are our opponents records over the past two seasons. I think our season depends on how strong we finish within our division, of which we are capable of going 4-2. Then I can fairly say- Oakland - 2012: 4-12, 2013: 4-12 = Win 1-0 Even Without our full secondary Green Bay - 2012: 11-5, 2013: 8-7-1 = Loss 1-1 Pack Back to 2012 Form Chicago - 2012: 10-6, 2013: 8-8 = Loss 1-2 Tight Loss At home to a mediocre team Detroit - 2012: 4-12, 2013: 7-9 = Win 2-2 Tight Win topping a mediocre team San Diego - 2012: 7-9, 2013: 9-7 =Loss 2-3 Tight Loss to another mediocre team Denver - 2012: 13-3, 2013: 13-3 =Loss 2-4 Bad goes Badder New Eng - 2012: 12-4, 2013: 12-4 = Loss 2-5 Bad goes Rock Bottom Buffalo - 2012: 6-10, 2013: 6-10 = Win 3-5 A Stumbling Bills team a relief Kansas City - 2012: 2-14, 2013: 11-5 =Win 4-5 KC continues bad end to 2013 Season Pittsburgh - 2012: 8-8, 2013: 8-8 = Win 5-5 Finally get the best of a mediocre team BYE - Not bad at .500 and weathered da storm Buffalo - 2012: 6-10, 2013: 6-10 = Win 6-5 A great team to run on after the Bye Miami - 2012: 7-9, 2013: 8-8 = Loss 6-6 A Heartbreaker at Home Minnesota- 2012: 10-6, 2013: 5-10-1 = Win 7-6 A whooping of Sota gets team pumped Tennessee - 2012: 6-10, 2013: 7-9 = Win 8-6 C2k has something to prove New Eng - 2012: 12-4, 2013: 12-4 = Win 9-6 First of paybacks are a bitch Miami - 2012: 7-9, 2013: 8-8 = Win. 10-6 Second of paybacks are bitchier 10-6 Season and Possible Wild Card This is very very capable of happening!! Super Bowl .. Hey anything is possible riding a late season hot streak .. Ask that other NY Team. Realistically I can see the record and a Wild Card Berth happening but we are still another draft and a few cap rollovers away from something special. I do hope Rex is around as I think we need that special brand of D he brings!
He's already better than Mallett. sidebar: not to hijack this thread soxxx but this blurb I happened to come across must've bummed you out….so much for the "moustache covering the stretch marks" theory……hope this doesn't spoil your Labor Day ; ) Olivia Munn, Boyfriend Aaron Rodgers Go Public, Kiss and Hold Hands: Picture Olivia Munn and boyfriend and Aaron Rodgers were photographed kissing and holding hands in West Hollywood, California. About time! Olivia Munn went public with boyfriend Aaron Rodgers as they kissed and held hands in West Hollywood, Calif., on Friday, June 6. The Newsroom actress, 33, kept her beau close as they grabbed a bite to eat at La Conversation for lunch. Munn donned skinny jeans and a purple plaid button-down and accessorized with black sunglasses. The NFL Green Bay Packers star, 30, kept it casual, too, with blue shorts and a matching purple T-shirt. Us broke news last month that the pair were an item. They were first photographed hanging out backstage together at the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. As previously reported, Munn recently split from RoboCop actor Joel Kinnaman after dating for two years. "They were actually close friends before they even started dating," an insider told Us of the exes. "So they've been able to stay really good friends even through the breakup. It's just made things much easier for both of them." Rogers, for his part, had been recently linked to Gossip Girl alum Jessica Szohr.
Clearly Idzik does not feel this is an All-In Season. Otherwise, he would improve the secondary. He is taking his time for a strong 2015 run. No doubt about it. As for 2014: 7-9 to 9-7 would make sense.
Not trying to prove anything my man. In some of your previous threads and posts about Aaron Rogers, you exhibited a fascination bordering on obsession regarding what you perceived as Rogers' latent gayness - not that there's anything wrong with that. That's all.
I do think Belichick got better as the seasons went on. I think I would give plenty of credit to Charlie Weis because Belichick learned how to run an offense from him.
Interesting way of looking at the schedule, I do believe we split between the Packers / Bears games as well as the Patriots / Broncos.
San Diego isnt medicore though, they are one of the powerhouses in the NFL, probably the hardest game on the schedule.
"easy teams" was in quotations because in the NFL any team can technically beat any team on any given day. but really the only game that was essentially sure fire win for the Jets was the Raiders game. Raiders had everything going against them, on the East coast, Rookie QB in his first NFL game going up against a coach in Ryan who seldom loses to rookie QB's and well lets face it, Oakland is going to be a bad team this year. The Chargers all depends on whether Rivers is being Jekyll or Hyde on the given day. Lions do scare me because they do have a high octane passing attack and well lets face it, our corners are concern.
