Chad had a great season this year. Let us know what you think after next season ... the AFC East schedule is much more difficult plus you'll have the 1st place schedule. That should draw some better defenses.

The first place schedule gets them San Diego and Pittsburgh, so that could be tough. We get Cincinnati and Oakland, fwiw. The Pats get Baltimore and Denver and the Bills have Cleveland and KC. But who knows how those teams will play next year?

    He won't in any capacity.

And if you think Sparano is really making the playbooks, you're delusional.

Well based on that post I'm gonna assume you think Miami does nothing this off season to improve on their talent level and we will play a tougher schedule with the same team, right??

The question you have to ask yourself is, 'what kind of team is Parcells building in Miami?'

Is he going to egotist route (like we've all seen) and building a team that he would want to coach?

Or is he building a team with the players Sparano wants over anything else?

Historically, Tuna was never about even a measurably high-powered offense. It was grind-it-out ground game that sufficed due to the superior coaching on the defensive side under Parcells. Sparano and Henning show a ton of ingenuity on offense, will Parcells give them to talent they need on that side to compliment that? Or will he allow their talents to simply keep the offense afloat while he builds a powerful defense? He hasn't ever put a huge priority on the quarterback position.

Why would you make that assumption?

My point is that Chad will always suck big dicks against top defenses and you will be playing more of them this season. Let us know what you think of him after this season.

I could care less what Jet fans think of Chad, what he did with the Jets has nothing to do with what he will do with the Fins, not matter how much you hope he fails. At the start of the season Jets fans we sure Chad would be mediocre at best and Brett was your free pass to the SB. Yet look how the season ended.

I think Miami's biggest problem against the Ravens was a very bad Oline, not Chad Pennington. The guy was under pressure all day. Miami will once again be upgrading their Oline and Dline this off season.

See that post? Yep, we have seen it for years.

Well I don't remember a single Jets fan thinking Favre would be our free pass to the superbowl. That's probably some bullshit you just invented to make us sound bad.

Chad did what he always does and that's give his team a chance to win against average to below average teams. Don't believe us, I don't give a shit. Chad will fail against top defenses over and over and over again.

Ok well you had Brett Favre last year and you upgraded your Oline, what was the excuse for Favre since you can't blame Chad anymore?

It was Favre and Mangini's fault

If the first bolded bit is true, why are you posting this stuff on a Jets board? Wouldn't it be better to stick to the fish boards?

Eh, Sparano's job is to gameplan to his players strengths, to put them in position for success. Until he establishes himself as a solid coach with a philosophy of his own, he will make do with the players provided. I would assume that Sparano has some kind of input, how much it counts is anybody's guess.

At the end of the day Parcells knows how to evaluate and collect talent. Drafts will continue to produce and FA will always wield something worth talking about. It's Sparano's and co's job to do something with that talent. Personally, I think they did very well with what they had last season. However, next season is it's own.

Maybe I'm mis-interpeting what you're saying here. Do you think Parcells is doing the game planning for our opponents? You think he installs a weekly series of plays that he's forcing the coaches to use?

I'd actually like to know what you speculate is happing behind the scenes.

Well I guess in your opinion the only position on the field that matters is QB, maybe you should start your own league of nothing but QB's since you seem to think the other 21 players on the field have zero to do with the success or failure of a team. I also think your view of Chad is flawed, obviously so your opinion is also flawed.

So I have to care what Jet fans think on every subject or I shouldn't post here?? Fan sites are designed for discussions, in this case, NFL football. I don't have to care what you think to discuss the game of football. The logic that I have to care about bias opinions just to post here is ignorant.

You have done your post like this, but that's OK. Sorta. I guess pink works for a fag team.

Hey, I thought I heard on the radio yesterday that Huizenga had a 1% interest. I guess I heard wrong, but 5%, still funny.
