Seems like he mentally deteriorated over the course of the preseason. If he had just been mediocre he'd still be on the team, but he got worse every week this summer.
Guys he just wasn't very good. He was never any good in college. He had 49 catches in 3 years!!! A second round pick should have 49 catches in 6 games not 3 years. We were carried away with the Calvin and Demaryious GT comparisons but the truth is he wasn't a good football player. Odds are he will get another chance but let's be real.. He's not going to get any better
Hill needs to go somewhere with a Coryell offense. He will never do well in a WCO but he may have a chance elsewhere.
He needs to buy a ball machine go into his backyard and have it fire hundreds of balls at him everyday until he starts using his hands. Until then he's useless in this league. The poor route running, the struggle to get off jams, the bad body control and all of his negatives can be nullified if the guy used his hands to attack a ball. If you go get the ball you can ignore poor receiver habits and develop them. Until then you render yourself useless as he is simply not a playmaker.
