Very pleased with his performance today. I never expect much out of rookies, and we will see if this keeps up the rest of the season, but today he sure did well. Damn well.

He looked good today, he may be coming along faster than I expected. It may be too soon but our receiving core may not be that bad. These receivers compliment each other. Hill is that big physical deep threat, Santonio is dangerous with the yards after the catch and Kerley in the slot.

Look. The kid can't run routes. He can't catch. He can't even score 3 TD's in his first game. Fire Tanny.

Yeah, get rid of Tannenbaum. LOL

Also, the Jets should start rebuilding. Who said that? Me. I feel pretty stupid, but that's OK.

This team is going to drag the SOJF's along kicking and screaming like children while waving a nice big finger at everyone else. I don't know if it's this year or next year or the year after that but it's coming so deal with it. Rex proved the point today. Now we start the season next week.

was a huge fan of the hill pick coming in.the kid is big and fast and would have been a 1st rounder in any other program.from waht i saw in the carolina game i knew this kid had something.now we can't expect this every week but he is definitely going to open things up for this offense

Mr. T took some real heat for this selection. Hill was projected to go in the 3d-4th rd. Mr. T took in the second based on his athleticism and his excellent work ethic. The preliminary results of that decision look very very good indeed. Kudos to Hill, Mr. T and to the Jets CS in getting Hill prepared to be successful - and of course huge kudos to Mark Sanchez for delivering strikes to Hill. Very Very psyched by this kid's performance today - JETS ALL DAY BABY !!!!!

It is just one game but he looked really decent. I am happy because this will create some opportunities for Holmes and Kerley as well if he can produce like this.

The thing is, I am not really sold on Bills defense yet.

Real test will be the next few weeks. Let's hope for the best

another thing was how mark went right back to him after the drop.that was huge i.m.o.

don't give hill time to dwell on it.get him back in the moment before his confidence gets shook.ecellent leadership move by mark

Hill is a beast! So nice to see what having a receiver with size and speed can do for an offense.

I believe Hill was projected as a late first early second round prospect?

Optimus Prime is Thomas' nick name from the tech. Calvin is megatron obviously, and our Hill is Ratchet...he's the green one.

    How about

Blackbird- the fastest Jet on the planet

Starscream- Other Jets forums are using this since CJ is Tron, DT is Prime, Hill follows suit not to mention he is a Jet and better than Prime

He was projected mainly late first round and I thought he was underrated there. He was eye-popping on tape whenever the ball went his way and he's only going to get better. Sick move nonetheless.

good point. the NFL draft advisory board told him that he wouldnt be drafted in the first 3 rds. He came out early anyway. To your point the teams rated him higher than the NFL draft advisory bd did. I think he was still a gamble by Mr. T. and it looks like Mr. T was right.
