Delicate sensibilities have no place around here. If the Yankees were still in this thing or, worse still, if they had won the World Series this year, the volume of chest-thumping would be deafening. And, that's fine. It all comes around - as it's doing now. At the end of the day, everyone still leaves as friends.

I didn't seem like it.... the only thing the Mets have that the Yankees dont aside from a 200 million dollar payroll is heart. If your team had some heart you'd still be playing. I have to admit I was pulling for a Mets/Yankees series so we could see who was the better team as a 6 game split does nothing.

Anyone remember the history of Rogerblaze? One of the biggest Yankee homers on the board. Hell, look at the first page of the BS Forum. When he first came around EVERYONE on this board was on his case for his gangsta posting style - everyone except for two posters: Shade and FTC. There were really the only two that were nice to Rog from the start. The ribbing is just something people around here do. There's never been, and isn't now, any venom behind it.
