Exactly... this year they felt the heat and a lot of them clamed up. Now the cool thing to do is wish the Mets good luck... it's a joke.

From who? That's what I am saying. There are a couple of names I can be pretty sure you would throw out there, and they have yet to post in this thread.

Those are the same shitheads that joined the bandwagon in '96, have talked crap every day the Yankees have won, and have disappeared since we lost game 2.

That's not most of us, and it definitely isn't anyone who has posted in this thread. This isn't a personal attack at you. As a matter of fact, I have no problem with you posting here. Just be constructive in your conversation. 3rd does it, and I know you can have constructive conversations yourself, since I've seen you do it.

I just don't want the thread to have to be clogged with "Yankees fakers suck!" posted 200 times.

Typical NY fan reaction to a loss. If Torre goes with Bernie & Melky instead Sheff & Matsui & Bernie & Melky have the kind of series that Sheff & Matsui had we would have been listening to everyone complain about not polaying Sheff & Matsui. Bottomline is the Yanks biggest stars failed to come through in the big spots again & that is the reason they were eliminated..

I didn't see him do that, I saw Yankee crybabies attacking the Mets fans that think your FO is a piss poor operation for their handling of Torre.

First of all don't tell me how to post. Secondly go look through the archives... it's not just a few knuckleheads, it's the majority. I'm not hear to cry about it either but fair is fair and dropping a few zingers here and there is to be expected. I made a one line joke about Torre... get over it.

I've been wishing Mets fans good luck every year since I was a kid. The only time since halfway through the '86 World Series I rooted against them was in the 2000 World Series.

Do you guys even bother to look at what you write? Mets fans push the envelope of arrogance and obnoxiousness, but since you can't end the argument with "26 time champions" you somehow feel like you have a right to get a pass.

I'm not going to continue to play this game. If you can't be productive in this thread, then just ignore it. Like I said above, your bones to pick are with the jackass 96ers, who we don't like either. As far as Francesa, how many Yankee fans can you find in this city that would consider him a peer?

You guys are missing the obvious answer for new Yankee coach. It's Herm. Think about the possibilities. No clock worries, Steinbrenner has the money to sign Ty Law with no trouble, and we can can get 162 post game press conferences. Might even be able to bring in Hackett as pitching coach.

The daily Herm and Steinbrenner drama would be worth it by itself.

I am going to regret leaving TGG once and for all, but the clownish behavior is just pushing me to want to troll others. I have tried my best not to do it, and I don't want to get into now.

I'm shutting down my browser now. I'll take a step back and try to refocus. To my Yankees brothers, talk atcha later. To Mets fans who can't seem to STFU, I hope the Cards spank your asses.

Larry Bowa was just on the FAN and said he'd be shocked if Torre is fired...The interview was very good, it should be replayed on the site after the show. He hit on alot of topics and didn't shy away from anything really.

then why are you defending the 96'ers? If my comment applied to you I could see you getting pissed off, but it had nothing to do with you, the 96'ers, or anybody personally. It was a joke about Torre... don't be so hypersensitive.

So I cant wish the Mets luck after we lost. i wished em luck in the offseason when it didnt seem like the Mets were the better team in NY. I was actually gonna root for the Mets being the other NY team but considering all the shit Ive been dealt I am no longer rooting for the Mets.

Alio you gotta grow some thicker skin when it comes to these guys...

Shade and FTC have tried every year to bust balls, and apparently this season they got to a few of you. They've never gotten to me, and they never will...Let them talk their shit about the Yankees while their team is still in the postseason, let it be.
