Kemoeatu is horrible. If he was any good the Steelers would not have let him leave. He can't pass block and his run blocking really isn't anything special. Passssss.

He started all year on the Super Bowl winning team who are trying to re-sign him. How bad can he be?

^^ Stevo, that bugs me. Moore is better than Kemeoatu, and after this year, Moore would have a total cap charge over the next three years worth basically his total charge for this year! to essential pay somebody more money, who isnt as good really bugs the shit out of me. At least Jason Brown is an upgrade, and he is only 25 years old, he sould have been the guy targeted to replace moore, since apparently he needs replacing.

    Stupid. Should've just kept Moore.

Exactly. I think we should have just kept Moore. We have a lot of cap room this season, so paying the majority of Moore's contract this season would make sense. This would allow us to have more cap room for the next few seasons (and a better guard IMO)

The Steelers are low on cash - that's why they can't bring McFadden back either.

Apparently, Kemo had an offer from the Steelers, but he turned them down.

He was sloppy in the SB with penalties and I think he was a big reason on the safety too. The lone 2 good players on the Steelers line were Colon and Starks.

Probably wouldent make this move unless its a cheap enough deal.

Are you kidding me? Justin Hartwig is the only player you can blame for the safety - he got destroyed by the bull-rush and pulled the player to the ground with him.

Kemo had absolutely nothing to do with it...

This is ironic. People were saying how Moore struggled in pass protection and was good at run blocking. Now the focus is on a guy with the same skills for equal or better money?

  11. Kemo was on of the best players on the steelers line...he's very young and obviously coming cheaper than Moore. Dont think Ryan doesn't know exactly what kemo is capable of from all his chess matches against pittsburgh

Exactly... I can't even count how many times that fat prick would scramble around with the ball for 20 seconds after the ball was snapped. The guy doesn't like to throw the ball away. If he didn't weigh 800 pounds I'm sure the sack # would be double.

At the very least we made him an offer. That's what they just said on Boomer and Carton

If he takes an average of $4 million per, that would work. I was afraid they were going to end up having to throw money at one of the top guards in this class. Quick and cheaper is the way to go.

That's not cheaper...we had Moore for an average of 3.5 per.

We are paying more to lose chemistry.

Still a bad move all around.

As someone who never played football, I have a question. I do understand when a guard or any offensive lineman seems like a better pass blocker or run protector, but what is the difference in the skill sets? What is one OL lacking when, for instance, he's not a good pass blocker but is a good run blocker, and why can't the skill set be applied to the weakness?
