she's a little before my time but she does look pretty good here. although i would've rather seen portman in this
I must have been 12 or 13 when it came out and my moms took me and my sister to see it. As you know, its one of the first images you see on the screen. One of those movie moments you just never forget.
1. Empire Strikes Back 2. A New Hope 3. Revenge of the Sith 4. Attack of the Clones 5. Return of the Jedi - I hate Ewoks 6. The Phantom Menace - I hate Jar Jar I barely remember seeing A New Hope for the first time. Hey, I was 5. However, I have vivid memories of seeing Empire. I saw it at a drive in theater. The opening movie was the original Island of Doctor Moreau. That movie freaked me the hell out.
wow when I was little she was the IT chick for me after this outfit.and to top it she kills Jabba herself.big time plus
Nothing will ever beat sitting in the theater for A New Hope. Lights go down and the music comes blasting out all over. The summary roles past and then out of no where comes this huge ship flying over you. Mouths were just gaping at this amazment. Then Stormtroopers come blasting into the rebel ship and Darth Vader steps in... OMFG!!!!!!!!! It was awe inspiring, plain and simple. Its why I still get goosebumps when the opening summary comes on for any of the movies.
I know what you mean, but for me when Obi Wan said the "you were the chosen one" line, I got chills down my spine. It was 20 years of obsession coming together in one moment.
MSUJets---Do you really believe that Attack of the Clones was the best one or are you just f'ng around?
and then buttle buttered his own popcorn ha ha shade quote I know what you mean, but for me when Obi Wan said the "you were the chosen one" line, I got chills down my spine. It was 20 years of obsession coming together in one moment. oh fuck yea.I am watching revenge tonight after the rest of the fam goes to sleep. my sons favorite is empire too and he is going to be 4. I haven't showed him Reveng yet b/c I'm saving it for the box set of phantom, attack and sith.
Revenge should've been the best movie out of all 6. IMO the general "story" for the prequels was much stronger and interesting then the "farm boy becomes a hero" of the original trilogy. Of course when the writing is so bad and the actors so wooden that the catalyst for the best scene of the series is a pouting whiny teenagers supposed love for a frigid bitch it kinda falls flat for me. It was still a powerful scene and a very entertaining movie but I think it was definately hurt by the general crappiness of the preceeding two.
