nah this reminds me of reggie bush and deangelo williams. you have the premium college performer and a overlooked prospect who appears to be more "nfl ready" and have a better "all around game"

mendenhall will be going to the bears. thats signed and sealed unless someone leapfrogs to trade for him which i find unlikely.

i agree mendenhall seems to be more of the "complete" back. but i think people are feeding themselves dillusion snadwhiches if they feel they can honestly look at McFaddens body of work and not be impressed. in most drafts there wouldnt be a question mcfadden top 3 boom. just so happens not alot of teams have a GLARING need within the top 10. u can debate OAK and ATL but fargas fared well and ATL has turner/norwood tied up.

all im saying is people bitch and moan like mcfadden falling to us at 6 is bad. and i dont see any logic in it. ive said it before jones will be gone within 2 yrs and who the hell will we have? people usually argue back theres great RB's coming out in the next yr or two. i argue get the fuckin franchise back now, move ahead and fill the rest of the fundamental holes.

im not saying I am all gung ho on mcfadden but people actually talk like hes garbage on here and its crazy. maybe they didnt watch a whole lot of him but I live in FL and see alot of SEC football. the guy imposed his will on defenses.

I like McFadden...and if he falls to us.and we select..even better. He's still a great HB with lots of versatility.

But if something happened, and we ended up with Mendenhall instead of McFadden....I wouldn't die a slow death over it.

Regardless, Mendenhall will most likely be selected by the Bears anyways...so I agree with you there.
