I never thought Brett Favre was a dodo, just reckless. Now Terry Bradshaw, that is a guy I thought was a dodo---a dodo with a great running game behind him. Maybe there is hope for Stafford?

So, assessing a QB is 100% emotion-based? C'mon, get serious.

I'm not the one putting the words 'good' and 'great' in the same sentence with Geno Smith, so don't let your emotions instead get the better of you…. : )

We need to spend picks on the O-line, TE, RB and LB. We really need Stafford to become free.

Fitz could easily be here for another 2-3 yrs. This is the first good 'team' he's ever played on and it shows.

After 5 games I'd have agreed with you but we're seeing the same thing the Titans saw last year: a decent QB and a good leader who can't stay on the field because part of both factors is that he plays without regard for his body.

If Fitzpatrick gets hurt again this year he's going to be a free agent at the end of the year for the same reason he was a free agent from the Texans. Teams won't plan around an often injured player over 30 at the game's most important position.

how the f did this tyhread become about geno are the geno bots comparing stafford to geno now? Face it geno is on this team because they can't find a better option at the cost. his decisions last week should show the world about his football IQ and how bad his decision makling is. Did Allot of people not cover this before? Hiow the f can anyone one defend him. let me geno 007 is one because he thinks he is better then fitz. Si the next question for geno fans if he is soooo good why isn't he starting this week over a one handed qb?is a conspiracy or is i because geno is not that good?
We should be calling any qb that is an upgrade the qb of the future is not on this team

and that is why Geno does not throw it away when he is outside the hash marks and no one is open? Or why Geno takes sacks that take him out of field goal range? Or why he takes a brutal (and totally necessary) hit on the sideline after coming into a game because the starter got hurt? Right. All Geno needs is a big time wideout, and his mental fog will clear.

The difference between Luck and Geno is this. If Luck hits free agency, every team in the league would try to grab him. WHEN Geno hits free agency, every Canadian Football league team will make a move for him, except for Montreal.

If the Jets are picking between 21st and 32nd in the draft it's a no brainer to trade for Stafford unless they really feel Bryce Petty their guy.

I don't disagree about Luck. But I'm sure a few teams will want Geno. Hell if Tebow got a few chances I'm sure Geno will to.

Cap just got benched for blane gabbert. He lost his team and is more immature then geno. Honestly I think geno is a better QB then cap

Stafford is very up and down, he's a sanchez with a better arm. He's had a ton of offensive talent (especially megatron) and at times has looked like a top 5 QB and at other times has looked terrible. He's also injury prone

Cutler is probably the best of the bunch, but he isn't young and has his fair share of terrible moments. tends to slump hard and might not be on the best terms with marshall

RG3 had one good rookie season and has been terrible since. I'd rather try my luck with geno

We also just drafted petty. The sad news is, there isn't a better QB option available then what we have with fitz, geno and petty.

I'd prefer Tebow over Geno. Tebow doesn't have a job because he might have more baggage than Geno.

I'm not going to get into that on a NYJ board, quite frankly Tebow conversation is the lowest form of conversation. He has his detractors, and he has his supporters.
