Pierce had a mixed week. He dropped a number of passes. It sounds like he may have a focus issue or his hands may be questionable. If either is true (and I'm not saying that it is), I want no part of him.

The consensus is that the three best WRs on the National team have been (in no certain order) Shakir, Doubs, and Watson.

I could see the Jets double dipping at WR in the draft.

    Burks/London/Wilson/etc. in round 1.
Shakur/Doubs/Pierce/Watson/etc. in the 3rd-5th round range.

Add any 2 of those guys to what we already have and let’s score some points next season.

I think the general consensus for TE is Trey McBride, but I'm really interested in seeing Charlie Kolar. At least on tape i find Kolar to be every bit as impressive as McBride. Also very interested in seeing Ruckert. My feeling is if he were a great target for the Buckeyes they would have gotten him a lot more involved. It's up to him to convince he fell victim to circumstances with OSU.

Have you seen Ohio’s top 3 WE? All are 1st round picks.

What happened to the Texas A&M TE, before the season he was labelled as a potential 1st round talent. Now I barely see any mention of him. What happened?

I love the idea of double dipping at WR in the draft (or TE), but I don't think that any of those WRs fall into the 4th-5th round range unless some red flag arises or they have a horrible workout or interviews at the Combine. If they all play well in the Sr. Bowl game today, none of them may get out of the 2nd round, but I think it would be 3rd round at worst.

I'm not certain, but he didn't have a great season. I think that part of that is his QB wasn't great. Based on what I've read, he's also not much of a blocker. If that's true, that could be a part of why there hasn't been as much talk about him.

    Lot of websites said great weeks for the following guys who I consider big time NYJ upcoming draft prospects;
    - Jermaine Johnson III (FSU) - DE but they had him listed OLB Edge Rusher?
    - Perrion Winfrey (Oklahoma) - DT but dominated
    - Zion Johnson (Boston College) --- dude playing G + C. Interesting when considering Connor McGovern's contract status w/$0 guaranteed & $8 mil savings
    - Trey McBride (Colorado St.) - TE
    - Jeremy Ruckert (Ohio St.) - TE
    - Jalen Pitre (Baylor) - FS
    - Christian Watson (ND State) - WR
    - Kingsley Enagbare (South Carolina) - DE
    - Travis Jones (UConn) - DT

That is where coaching comes in Jerry Rice dropped a lot of passes before he became great. Just saying.

I’m seeing that DeVonte Wyatt could slip into the first round and I think defensive tackle is at least a third round need along with a stopgap free agent run stuffer. The defensive tackles were pretty bad in the run game last year and we need to infuse some talent and move on from Rankins and Fatukasi who got pushed off the ball all year long.

Where do you think Travis Jones gets drafted? I think both Winfrey and Wyatt will be 1st round picks.
