I'm less worried about Braylon keeping the beard than I am worried about the Jets keeping Braylon. He's a ridiculous talent, but if it's him or Santonio Holmes, and if its Rex Ryan's decision, I think we know who he's keeping. Tannenbaum would probably prefer to keep the rarer physical specimen, Braylon Edwards, especially since Holmes is just a mistake away from serving a lengthy suspension. You hate to put all your eggs in that basket. Here's hoping that after a couple years of being miserable in Cleveland, Edwards decides to take a pay cut to stay in New York and play across from Holmes. Unlike Holmes, he's already signed one huge contract in his career, so maybe he'll be inclined to take a little less on his second deal in order to stay on a team and in a city that he likes being a part of.
