Jerry Jones was saying that early on but he's basically surrendered the day-to-day operations of the team to his son Stephen who knows how to delegate to football people, and they let Jerry go on his radio shows during the week pretending he's still in charge. Two players on that team have his fingerprints on them, Dez Bryant and Mo Claiborne.
Jerrah's most impressive accomplishment as an NFL owner is making people believe he's somehow a good owner..... I give a lot of credit to his son, who has been able to keep Jerrah's ego fed by having him pretend he's the wizard of oz on TV, while having actual football people make the real decisions. But instead of Jerrah's son, we have Woody's brother....no wizard just the tin man.
Jerrah wanted to show everybody he was "a fooball guy". That prolly cost him another ring or two. Woodster, I think, has a little of that in him. He wants to prove something. I hope The Woodster goes to England and realizes, before long, the full extent of how much they'll be ridiculing him behind his back.
I could very well see this happening. Woody seems a lot more interested in Politica (if you want to call it that) than the NFL. I also feel that him not getting that stadium deal is a factor. That being said I'm sure another franchise would love to move to NY.
So, the Jets have equal equity into the company that owns MetLife and they just built the stadium 7 years ago. There is no way that the team would leave without selling their equity in the stadium. The Jets are a very valuable franchise with their co-ownership of the stadium, so there is absolutely no motivation to do this.
I'm open to the Jets moving, but St Louis would be a shitty city to move to. I probably would stop supporting the Jets if they moved to that shit city.
I am definitely down for new Ownership of the Jests Turn this laughing stock around...Busch ran a Championship team and that's ok with me Moving to St Louis? ,,meh to that idea Keep in NYC ? Great! Negotiate new stadium too From what I hear, Busch plans to sweeten the offer with lifetime discounts on Budweiser Bud Light and Michelob for season ticket holders!!!
Bat Child has agreed to interview for the Jets oc opening.Rumor has it he will turn the job down because he feels the name Woody Johnson is to strange.

Give me London or Las Vegas. Or just move back to Queens. I think as long as the Jets are in the new giants stadium they are going to suck. They need a change in the worst way.
