    QFT.

    QFT.

    Not necessarily true.

You are presupposing that the RBs are going to be breaking off 5+ yard runs with regularity. Sorry, but I don't see the Jests offense doing this. Last season, they averaged 3.8 yards per carry, which meant that they had lots of 1-2 yarders in the mix, which is why they ended up passing so much.

If you want to "ground and pound", you really need 4 yards minimum on first down, otherwise you're probably going to have to pass to get a first.

RT is more important in the running game than is LT since most teams run to the right. Now, the Jets OL coach may think Hunter is dynamite, but I doubt anybody else shares his enthusiasm. Best pray that Ducasse finally comes around in his third season.

Of the new signees, one of them was a mediocre journeyman before his injury. The other one has never been anything but a starter-by-default. Given the lack of OTs available in FA, that they were around almost 3 months after the start of FA says that neither is much more than TC fodder.

I also don't see Shonn Greene as a good every down back unless he has a dominant OL opening holes for him.

Nothing Sparano did in four years as Dolphins HC suggests he'll be able to pull off what he's been saying he will do as OC.

This doesn't mean he's destined to fail, of course, but the track record is what it is. I don't see how this point should even be considered controversial. It is what it is.
