Considering this offseason they did practically anything they could to find somebody that wanted his job, yet failed, this is extremely wishful thinking.
I dont think he actually is taking a shot at Revis, granted the guys sucks as a head coach but is he really that stupid?
No I don't think its a shot at Revis, it's just Sparano being an idiot. somebody has to find the Sparano fist pump .gif its kind of obligatory for this thread.
Relax children. This had nothing to do with Revis. He's just trying to push Sean Smith to come up with more turnovers. He absolutely cares about how well a CB shadows a WR. And in no way was he even thinking of, let alone referring to, your boy Revis...
Sean Smith > Revis I haven't heard that much of the typical Dolphins nonsense this year.. how they have a better defense, better QB, better coach, better this, better that, Vontae Davis > Revis, all that crap.. it's probably because the Dolphins are irrelevant.
Just think he beat out Rex for the Miami job. Tuna must have lost his marbles a few years ago. I know I am basing that on one comment but the track record of the two coaches kind of speaks for themselves.
you mean telling the guy to look for the ball more didn't work? I agree, I think it had nothing to do with Revis at least not directly anyway, but if the player doesn't get it when you tell him to look for the ball more then why would the coach believe this would work?
Trying to push a player. Coaches dont do that everyday? Smith looks for the ball fine. Had a ton of PBUs. Just couldnt bring the ball down and dropped a bunch of easy INTs. Its the one area Smith really needs to improve upon this year, and what will allow him to take the next step as a player.
Ok homer, I would say that the jets had better seasons the last two years. I think you would have to agree going to the AFC championships is better than watching a rival play from your couch. I guess that is all you have to hang your hat on but here in NY our seasons are not judged just because on our matchups with Miami.
This is true. I use the same logic when I explain to people that the Browns are better than the Patriots because they beat them last year.
Sparano is right. Dolphins have the best CB tandem. They also have unstoppable ground attack. I hope Sparano stays as Dolphins HC for a long time.
I actually like Sparano a lot as a coach. Was obviously just taking a little fun jab there. Going to back to back AFC Championships makes it pretty much impossible for anyone to argue Sparano > Rex...
"I don't look at guys and say "man, he really covered well" - Tony Sparano i hope Tony uses that in his next job interview after he's fired next season.
