The 3-4 seems to be a lost cause, the D is just horrible, might as well go back to 4-3.

The 4-3 wouldn't be any better. You people are delusional if you think that a defense this bad can magically become good if we change scheme with a coaching staff that has no experience with the 4-3.

People keep saying we're rebuilding, but what exactly have we done to rebuild on D?

The only move we really made to switch to the 3-4 is to move BT to OLB and draft David Harris. instead, we have Drob out of position, Vilma playing ILB when he should probably be an OLB in this system, Ellis playing 3-4 end, when he is clearly a 4-3 end, we brought in Coleman and Bowens who are both 4-3 ends..... hobson and barton are both below average, and Revis would be fine in either scheme.

I dunno. If we're rebuilding, we need to bring in the influx of players faster. We have basically the exact same defense from last year and it hasn't gotten any better.

I get so mad at you 3/4 whiners, because if you watch closely we actually play A LOT of 4/3 defense. In fact some games we play more 4/3 than 3/4!

Just because "in name" we run a defense or the CBS guys introduce us in the 3/4 doesnt mean crap, seriously we are a little of both.

Personally I think in this day and age, 3/4 is the way to go, but we have to get the players to run it. It doesnt take overnight, but we are taking steps in the right direction. Next Step = pass rushing OLB and our 3/4 we take better shape.

We also need a big fat ass nose tackle that can take on 2 OL.
