It says 25,000 topics on my end, and 793,984 posts.

    Now 793,985 probably.

Am I the only person who read the part about TO's show starting soon?

There's some line about bad publicity that I fail to recall at the moment...

I agree with this entire post 100%! When I first read the story this morning, I couldn't tell if he was trying to be insulting, or if he was trying to be complimentary but is just stupid. But I do think it was meant the be an Ochocinco-like poke, and he should just leave that type of shit to Chad, who is a pro at it.

Is being called Ren and Stimpy suppose to be an insult or something?

I take issue with this. We do not have a team of loudmouths. Literally 2 people on the team talk - Rex and Bart Scott. Yeah, Bryan Thomas and Shaun Ellis are really yapping their mouths.

Sanchez's "Dream Team" comment didn't really help.

Frankly, although I don't think that the difference between the way the media treats Favre and the way it treats T.O. is racially based, he's 100% right that there's a clear difference. The media refuses to call Favre for what he is (a distraction and a bad teammate) because they've spent years building him up as a "gunslinger" who "plays the game the right way." It's a joke.

I also agree with him about Sanchez, but he should really keep his mouth shut about that. At least until the Bungles win a fucking game.

He might have done that, actually. But if he did, it was the Buffalo media. Which is why we never heard it.

I don't see where he said anything wrong. He was spot on regarding both Favre and the different treatment as well as Sanchez's performance.

How is T.O. not one of the greatest receivers of all time?

For the most part though, you'd be hard pressed to call Sanchez a trash talker. Cromartie's made some comments too, but it's mostly Rex doing the talking.

I don't think the Favre thing has to do with skin color as much as hero worship. No different than the media treats LeBron James.

I disagree with that TO part. He is one of the best wide receivers in the game. If he wasnt such an asshole people would talk of him differently. He will be a HOF'er though...unless the voters want to snub him.

Here I was thinking the media hated TO becaue he single handedly destroyed 3 seperate teams with his antics. But now I see they hate him bc of his skin color.

By they way Favre is an a$$hole and he's right about that. I don't understand why he continues to get a free pass with the media.
