I'd be happy if he made the PS... honestly though, why the hell did he stop playing baseball!? It's much easier to make some money in baseball with all the minors than in football where it's basically NFL or bust.
The travel is terrible, they sometimes don't make enough to even afford homes of their own, hence the requests for host families for players. The baby's mother would likely have to work to support the family, which means he can forget about seeing the baby when he's on the road for stretches. Ask RichMiano about it. He used to work in the minors.
On the road all the time. Doesn't really pay that much. Constantly away from home and family. It's not just his reaction to it but his girlfriend/wife's reaction and the kid's development. It puts a lot of stress on married men, that's why a lot of baseball players either remain single or fuck anything that walks. Baseball players, for the most part, are some of the most immature groups of adults ever gathered together.
