Same song, over and over again. Tell me, what can I read in your posts that I can't hear in an Alzheimer's ward?

NO just looking for what you see presently that are assets on the NYJs. Why can you not reply to such a simple question. Afraid you cannot find them?

no. it's just not worth my time typing all that out; you'll just debate every point down to the last syllable because you're so narrow-minded.

    cheers

Hey Champ, I'll take you up on that bet.

We'll each send $100 to the owner of this board and then when the time comes, he sends the money to the winner? How about it? Put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is.

That is, if you can keep your foot out of it long enough to find it.

And don't even think for a second that I'll accept someone YOU know as a neutral party.

Chad will come back and likely be OK, but if he gets hurt his career is over as a starter. If he comes back and plays healthy but is only as good as he was at the beginning of last season, he won't last in there more than 7 games.

Justin is going to be a notable player in this league. Whether or not he will be a star CB is yet to be seen, but he will be a guy people know about, and if he can get some starts I think we will see him mature and get comfotable.

Is Derrick Strait going to have a shot to do more than he currently does? Look at our CB spot....where is his opening? Dyson will almost certainly be a starter, and that means putting Strait in at the other side takes time away from Miller who last season was seen as far more of a prospect than Strait. I think Derrick is pretty darn good but will only go in to give a starter a break or when there are multiple WRs.

I hope that this rumour of Maddux being a huge hitter is true. If it is, I hope he can cover because I would love to see a guy in there who can rock some people like Sean Taylor does. I do think Rhodes was OK as a rookie though and deserves to be penciled in as the starter at the beginning of camp.

Jerricho....he might be a number 2 but still is not a great number 2. He would be a guy that could cause teams to take soem attention away from Coles. I can't even say for sure that he'd be much of an upgrade over Justin, but Justin's job is certainly not set in stone right now, or better not be. It will be an interesting battle in camp, and I do like Jerricho.

Justin McCariens certainly can bounce back. Even though he is not the most dynamic receiver, he can be good enough to be a legit number 2. He had a bad season last year, but was pretty good for us in 2004, I remember some key catches he made in traffic to get first downs. Last season with Dinger we thought he'd be a deep threat, and he's not, but if he can gt back on track he can contribute and keep his starting job.

    :rofl2:

YOU have a neutral person to keep the $? That's like Bush saying Cheney will hold the money!

ANOTHER avatar bet? Yer losing it..... we've never had an avatar bet. If I were ever inclined to bet with you, I'd have to get a lawyer to write it all up so you couldn't weasel out. Too much trouble for the return. I'll let you sucker someone else.

Nobody needs to build any sort of argument against you because you don't really have an argument - just hollow, insubstantial words. That's all you've ever had, really. You are incapable of supporting your own argument, so you play repetitive child games... and you know it, which is why you're a troll.

I'll even up the stakes for you Champ...

You win, you get the money and I never post here again.

I win, I get the money and YOU never post here again (and that includes any alternate names you have like BIHW).

So how about it Champ? Are you man enough to take this bet? Or are you a coward?

IMO, if you're not even willing to have Petrozza hold the money, then you don't deserve to post on his boards anymore.

Right take up my bet & in 2 years you will be richer by $100.00 if I am incorrect. Also I wonder who was correct & who was incorrect in the Herm debate? Some little birdie tells me you were the loser in that one. That means I knew more & was smarter then you in evulating that situation. The same goes for last year. Just continue to post your daily MISINFORMATION so that I get my daily laugh

    Just to refresh your memory.

So, if in 2008 no one that starts in our secondary this coming season is still starting, you win. Easy enough bet.

I win, I get $100 and you never posting here again.

You win, you get $100 and me never posting here again.

It is SOOO worth it from where I'm sitting.

I have PM'd Petro asking him if he'd be willing to help us out here. Or he can just post.

You think I did not understand the bet. Remember my statement which was nobody starting in our DBF in 06 will be a starter in 08. Clear from your side?

I'm sorry, champ, are you trying to turn TGG into your own private betting site or something? You seem to be ready to make a whole bunch of bets all at once. Maybe you should be paying Petrozza a commission here.

Edit: BTW, I've addressed my past loyalties to Herm in other posts, but you aren't worth the typing, so get to researching my posts, POS.

Champ...we have had this disargreement a million times...to sum up:

You thought Herm Edwards was the worst coach in the NFL (Not going to get much of an argument from me there).

The Jets had DECENT success getting to the playoffs 3 out 5 years (yes..not a superbowl win..thats not the point)

Either the Jets had a very good coach and no players...or the Jets had a terrible coach and good players.

You cant have your cake and eat too. Its pretty simple logic.

Bad players + bad coach= last place every year

It just feeds in to your logic? that everything about the Jets is the worst in the NFL. Statistics over the last 5 years dont back your theory.

My point to you is..how do you know what kind of talent the Jets have until they have a true football coach..and x's and o's guy...not a breastless cheerleader.

If your point is that Herm Edwards was a waste..then Herm Edwards had no ability..none..to groom young talent in to possible stars..or at least good contributors.

This entire...entire roster gets a bye as far as Im concerned because if anything...they will be treated to structure and accountability. Will EM be a great head coach? No clue...but EM will bring a hammer...a scale...and leave the pom poms at home...and after the last 5 years..thats good enough for me...and it should be good enough for you to sit tight..and see what exactly these young guys can do now that the babysitter with the chocolate chip cookies was "traded".
