I have never done it before and dont want to do it, b/c of the whole if you change one guy then your gonna have to adjust everyone else. Im still split whether I will do it. Hopefully there is a drill in franchise to up speed
Despite how off a certain player's rating might be, I never do it because of te reason you just listed. Also, what's to stop a Miami fan from boosting Trent Green's overall to like a 99 because he "honestly thinks he's that good." I don't mess with updating attributes usually until after the season is over.
These ratings were jacked up... Dyson is an 86 Revis-Barrett-Miller are 81 Drew Coleman 68 Jerricho - 85 Stuckey - 73 Brad Smith - 72 Bryan Thomas - 78 Kenyon Coleman - 73, still bad but ehh. Just had to flip Barton-Hobson and ive been loving this game thus far.
Let's take a look at two sets of stats from 3-4 OLBs, and those two player's Madden Ratings. Player 1: 55 tackles, 7 sacks Player 2: 77 tackles, 8.5 sacks Player 1 was given a rating of 95, while player 2 was awarded a 78. Please, someone, anyone, explain to me the logic in that.
Here are all the ratings for every team: http://www.sportsgamer.com/games/madden08/roster/team/49ers/"
Good question. I usually trade Penny for a first round pick as soon as I start my franchise. I don't give a shit about QB accuracy, I need a strong arm!
I actually LIKE using Pennington more than stronger arm...I've been so used to it the last 4-5 years that I know how to use him well. Anyway...I'll just give the important stuff. Clemens: Speed - 66 Awareness - 60 Jump - 83!?! Throw Power - 91 Accuracy - 84 I like it...Just the vision cone is a little tight compared to Pennington's.
My God, Pennington sucks in 08! I mean, he throws the ball where I place it, but it takes such a long time to get there. I threw like 3 picks last night because the reciever was already past the ball. AND I LEAD HIM BY SEVERAL YARDS TOO! Unless you want to lead a guy by 10 yards on a crossing pattern, Pennington sucks
