from someone who got the game early WR Jerricho Cotchery 86 OLB Bryan Thomas 82 ILB David Harris 76 pennigtons thp and tha 86, 94 RB WASHINGTON (speed + acceleration + catching) 91, 94, 70 Vilma 95 K Rhodes 94(speed + tackling + catching) 88, 85, 68 Coles 91 Mangold 89 T-Jones 88 and 90spd S. Ellis 88 Ferguson 87 Ellis 88 over 69 spd Von Oelhoffen 80 over 60 spd Robertson 86 over 64 speed Pouha 70 over 62 spd Dyson 84 over 94 spd Revis 82 over 89 spd (acceleration + catching) 92, 75 Miller 76 over 98 spd Poteat 76 over 88 speed Barret 75 over 87 spd
Penny's stats are pretty much the same as they've been the past 3 years. That 94 throw accuracy is nice Barrett being that low is rediculous. Millers 98 speed will, again, make him unstoppable when you blitz him off the corner. I'm a little surprised that Mangold and D'Brick are rated that high, but hey, I'll take it. I would like to know Leon Washington's speed Glad to see Coles get some dap, that rating is at least 3 points higher than last years. Also very curious to see Cothery's overall rating and Brad Smith's passing ratings
I'm really shocked they have Vilma that high. Nice seeing Rhodes gettign the respect he deserves, his rating alone will gain him a lot of popularity among fans who don't know who he is. Awesome to have Mangold that high, and quite frankly I'm a little surprised D'Brick is up there too I can see Jones also having an 88 spd which kinda sucks, but at least he'll be able to run some people over. Dyson is definately under rated, the guy gets no respect, he should be like an 87-88 considering that's what Barrett was rated like a year or two ago and Dyson is much better than him. Barrett should be a low eighties, maybe like an 82 or 83, since he's still an adequate #2 corner, #3 at worst, they have him rated like a scrub dime-back. Ellis is overrated.
I'm with Pred... Also as much as I dislike Barrett, he is better than Hank Poteat... Ellis should be an 84-85 overall. Vilma a 90-91. And I agree on Dyson, he played very well last season and was a good free agent pickup, 86-87 would of been fair. I'd like to see Kenyon's rating, ah, only 11 more days.
Wow, Vilma's rating is high but I won't complain... Poteat should be a 77-78 and Barrett a 80-82 at least... Dyson an 84? He should be at least an 86-88 Other than that, looks good.
Barrett's rating makes me sick...he has the most INT's of any current Jet in the last 3 years...he gets a 76? Im curious to what Cotch and BSmith got... Rhodes is a baller...surprised EA picked up on that...
Rhodes is a 95 thomas jones has 90 speed leon washington has 92 speed how could revis have 89 speed that doesnt make much sense to me
Rhodes has a 95 speed? You sure? wow, that's a pretty big jump from the latest update of 07, where he still was at 87 speed. They definitely should've made Rhodes a weapon though. Oh btw, I think someone forgot to give EA the memo that Revis ran a 4.3 40 in his pro day. I think they were just going by who ran what in the combine. Revis definitely should've gotten a better speed rating than Leon Hall, who btw got a 92 speed rating. I'm curious to see B. Thomas' and K. Coleman's ratings.
Thats because he is a scrub dime-back. The man is worthless, i'm glad they drafted Revis, now I don't have to see Barrett on the field anymore.
updated with more ratings. i am loving revis cth rating.. i think a boost of speed to 92. and he will be perfect.. by the way i say 92 cause bowie got a 92 spd and he ran like a 4.5
thomas 82.... hmf i think that's pretty low. I would put him in the mid to high 80's after a 10 sack season
I agree, that is a terrible rating. Madden consistently contradicts themselves. Sometimes they give players who have had one good season a great rating (hell, our own Kerry Rhodes for example). While other guys that had good seasons but aren't widely known get snubbed in the ratings. Meanwhile, old time players who haven't played nearly as good as they used to be and are living off their names continue to top the charts (ie Ray Lewis, Jon Lynch, etc.) They really need to decide whether or not they are going to base their ratings off of the previous season's performance, or if they think a player just had a down year, or if they are just going to continue to give a guy respect because he had a good career.
