That is incorrect. The Patriots have "only" won their last 14 regular season home games. Their most recent home loss in the regular season was on November 30, 2008 when Pittsburgh beat them 33-10.

What you meant to write was this-
The Patriots have won their last 25 regular season games in which Tom Brady was the starting quarterback. Of course, that streak actually includes the Week 1 opener which Brady was unable to complete. If QB W-L numbers were recorded the same way as pitcher W-L numbers, then Matt Cassel would have received the W.

Of course, this is a silly streak to brag about anyway because the Patriots lost a home playoff game last season.

Lousy offense? The Pats average 30 ppg. The Jets 24. I guess six points is the difference between great and lousy. And that Jet average includes getting shut out once.

You only count what supports your argument.

    You did count 2008.

If you exclude 2008, then the Patriots winning streak at home in regular season contests stands as 24- not 25.

Therefore, you do not count well.

Then you don't know what relevance is.

I don't know where you're getting this idea that the Jets have no offense. They are 10th in yards per game and 6th in points per game. It has been an inconsistent offense, but they have the ability to score. Especially against a defense as suspect as New England's.

So it doesn't gain 5 yards every play. I'll take the nice beefy average all day. There is no formation that always has a nice gain. Teams have been adjusting lately and selling out to stop the run, this week we will probably see the pass out of it.

I could see Smith faking a step forward, waiting for the LBs to bite and hitting Keller over the top

It's a trick play formation and since the Miami game ended it hasn't done anything big for us. we run it too much but I again I think we run it more to make opponents have to think about it and we are setting up a pass at some point. It's more valuable setting that up than as an effective play.

If the Jets were not relevant, then you would not have joined this message board.

  17. And truth be told, that team isn't very good. I'd venture to say the Jets haven't really beaten any decent teams this season.

  19. Wait...didn't you leave after some of us posted stats that showed you do be a complete fucking idiot when it came to your comments about the Jets' offense.

Scroll back to page three, you worthless Pats troll. You'll see the stats that have been provided that show you to be the fool you are.

Serious question pertaining to your 'relevance'....

How many more years is Brady going to play? Because when he retires the Patriots are going back to the basement. I'll give you that you've got the greatest QB of our era including Peyton Manning. But how much longer do you think he plays? A decade like he says he would like to? 5 years?
