After the loads of shit dealing with the media and Dipper fans nashing their teeth us at every step, it made smashing their title hopes that much sweeter. Now they can go back to calling us a plastic oil money bought/soulless overnight success... Ban us. Whatever.
I admit I don’t know the inner dynamics of City-Liverpool rivalry. I was hoping for Liverpool for two reasons. City was champs last year and I wanted another team to win. Secondly, Liverpool hasn’t won the league for God knows how many years and I was hoping relief for their fans. That said, congrats on winning the league.
This why the scousers are hated... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...-win-trophy-finish-second-Premier-League.html https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=376395262986212
It's been a week but still over the moon that we won the playoff final and got promoted. #UTV Also the champions league final was one of the most boring finals I've seen in recent times
Aston Villa! Thanks hah i'm just happy we got the influx of cash to ward off FFP at the moment but hopefully we'll become a more stable side as time progresses.
Nice to see a fellow Villan amongst the Jets fans. Finally back in the Premier League, interesting to see what our transfer dealings will be after the influx of money, I've been checking the newsnow site dozens of times a day We (Finland) won the world championship game in ice hockey against Canada the previous day, and yet according to my girlfriend I was way more excited for Villa. Go figure
Villa are probably the biggest sleeping giant in the English game. They have the potential to be a perennial top 5 club with the right backing.
Come on now. They just got promoted. Premier League is a beast. Which one of below teams will they dethrone to make it into Top 5 unless a super rich Arab or Russian oligarch buys that team? Man City Liverpool Chelsea Man Untd Arsenal Tottenham
That's why I said with the right backing. Of course they would need that, but in terms of fan base Villa are potentially a bigger club than either City or Chelsea. If Villa were in City's place now you wouldn't be seeing empty seats at Villa Park. Everton and Newcastle have more fans too, possibly Leeds as well.
hey now haven't you heard... we've got like the 3rd richest owners in the English game currently RE: Sturridge — he has the ability but has been very(very) injury prone in the past couple of seasons.
Finally back in the big time is right. Rather happy with our business as of now and think we'll break our transfer record spend again.
Nice distraction from the anticipation of the Jets game, Aston Villa take on West Ham in the English Premier League. Hopefully a Villa win, followed by a win by the Jets. I can't bare the thought of both losing tonight, I would be miserable company for my girlfriend on our flight home tomorrow
4-0 win away from home, oh yeah. The Ginger Pele with a hat trick... the rain did not dampen our spirits.
