First they must be good character player who were and still are loved by the fans. The first three are the only Jets HOFers so they should be locks, plus they are still loved by fans today, plus my #4 will be in the HOF in the future. Namath, Maynard, Martin & Klecko. Chrebet would round out my top five. Klecko should be in the HOF and even though Chrebet never will be, he is the Jets #2 WR of all time and was a huge fan favorite. Who doesn't have a Chrebet jersey in their closet?
Better #2 WRs than Cherbet ever was: 1. Al Toon (Wesley Walker was #1) 2. Al Powell (Don Maynard was #1) We aren't even talking about the top 10 Jets of all time but the top 4 Jets ever. Wayne Cherbet who never even got close to a pro bowl was a nice player but does not belong in this conversation.
I agree except for 1 point... Chrebet actually belongs in the conversation when you take into account the teams and what he did as a 3rd down receiver in the NFL... that said, he isn't top 3 in the end but definitely in the conversation..
