These are articles of faith for the putschists. The young are weak, global warming is a jewish hoax, everything outside of their rotten small towns is alien. You cannot reason with fanatics. It's a shame since they will pay the consequences fpr climate change.
It's difficult to have a truly honest discussion about an issue that effects people globally in all aspects when the same handful of assholes always has to twist every argument into a toilet bowl of angry little men waving their donkey and elephant pennants at each other. Sometimes the alternative is apathy. Literally no one cares how much cable news you guys watch.
Judging from the quality of cable news, one could argue it's doubtful the cable news guys care how much you watch either.
I have no doubt that climate change is real. It is inconclusive to me how much of it is a direct result of human behavior/activity. Anyone who thinks that the Sun buns at a constant rate for every second over billions of years does not understand basic combustion.
Yes, because something that is as huge and burns as hot as the sun for billions of years can only fluctuate over a 170 year period.......
I wonder how the effect of recent volcanic activity around the globe will compare to the effect of the burning of fossil fuels worldwide in the same period. Global Volcanism Program | Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report (si.edu)
Sensationalist articles like this do a disservice to those taking a serious look at climate change. Reporting a 1.2 C temperature increase in the past 260 years and claiming that temperature rise could increase to 3 C in less than forty years is neither realistic nor believable. "Might" and "could" fail as words to accurately describe scientific phenomena yet are tools of the trade for organizations that prefer to deal in emotion rather than fact. Nothing in the article substantiates or supports the fantastic flood pictures of the future. An approximate eighty foot sea level rise by 2060 to inundate a cathedral in Havana is simply preposterous.
