Revis was definitely a superstar by 2009 - he made first team All Pro that year. 2009 is generally regarded as Revis' best season ever.

We have none, a better question would've been above average players, we could've had a conversation.

The way the league has evolved, the superstar has been all, but phased out of existence. Back in the day, not only were Running Backs considered superstars, they were able to get out of the airport fast without raising any suspicion. RB have lost their importance with multiple rule changes promoting big yardage passing plays, which makes it easier to control games via the contentious pass interference penalty, which provides officials with the power to involve themselves in the outcome of contests. Weird how the real game has been tinkered with so much it now resembles a video game. Now the only question left to answer is will the video game start resembling the real game?
