I absolutely put it on the D, the O was awful but Den was down 3 late in the agme at their own 5 w/ a QB who can't throw. That's on the D, we are supposed to have a top defense, top defenses don't allow that to happen.
The offense's job is to put up points. They did not do their job. This loss is on the offense. The defense shares the blame because of that last drive, but it should have never come to that. The pick-6 was killer. The defense had to constantly bail the offense AND special teams out all night.
The defense failed on that drive. But the offense failed all game long. It should have never come to that drive. The offense blew the game with their inept play all game long.
i think BK's point is everyone points fingers elsewhere and their only excuse for Nacho is "well its only year 3" hes regressed and looks like shit. for every good play people point to as if hes carrying this team he has a dozen missed reads, bad throws, and horrible mistakes. oh and Dear Wayne Hunter, DIAFF signed, www.theganggreen.com
this is the thing I'll never understand. Simply cause our defense played great all game and only manage to have a small lead its the defenses job to consistently compensate for a horrible offensive output? people need to quit making excuses for this offense, and for most notably Rex Ryan's inability to get involved
But it did and a good D makes a stop there or AT WORST holds the opponent to a FG. Our D is vastly overrated and has been for 2 1/2 years.
this defense brought us to the playoffs the last two years, you battle anyone to the bitter end to hide the fact our HC needs to take more responsibility for this offense and no matter how many gaffes the D makes, Sanchez shits the bed at the worst possible times.
The D helped us get to the playoffs but a year ago they blew many leads only to watch sanchez and the O bail them out so it goes both ways. You cannot allow tim tebow to go 95 yds w/ the game on the line. It doesn't matter if the score was 3-0 at the time.
