Considering we didn't win them, that's an obvious statement.

The Patriots made the Super Bowl despite Brady playing like Garbage against the Ravens. This is a team game, get real. Same with the Giants, Eli wasnt the one making the plays against the 49ers, it was his special teams.

Team Game, Qb has about 20% influence on each game. The Defense has 45%. Special Teams 10%. Offense 45% (20 % QB, 10% Oline, 15% Wr/Rb)

    Fair enough?

I am not a Sanchez apologist. I argue that there is a lack of NYJ offensive talent so great that no one can be expected to do much with this offense.

Which is fair enough. But when your QB's problems are making the right reads and throwing the ball in a timely manner, you can have an ALL - WORLD team and he'll still make the same mistakes.

How come Russell Wilson makes big plays with average receiving talent? Oh wait because he has a top notch RB and a tremendous defense. RW is the type of QB that as soon as his RB falls off and his defense gets older, he'll fall off the earth also.

Sanchez has one of the top 3 or 4 wins in Jets history which was a result of his play.

    Jets SB win in 68
Jets win over Oakland in the playoffs in 68

Jets win over Oakland in 82/Jets win over Pats in 2010.

Sanchez in my view is doesn't have the kind of great skill set you see from franchise QB's and he certainly hasn't looked good down the stretch last year or at any time this year other then the 1st game of the season. However he is clearly the best QB on our roster and we are committed to him for next year. No point in not letting a new management team rebuild the O and use him or not as they see fit.

The clamoring for Tebow or Mcelroy to save us is simply delusional fans tired of lossing. We have to rebuild we are going to lose our share of games until we do. No magic bullets for WR, running back, a RT a LG, TE and WR. We don't have adequate talent, we don't have a great backup QB in waiting. Suck it up it enjoy the rebuild.

You finally got a couple of things right, he will probably be our QB, and we should pray for Norv.
Sanchez has zero confidence left and is awful slow on his reads. He throws to 15 inch windows with triple coverage because he missed one or two open reads before that, making an awful decision late in the progression. We are screwed with him and we have no other option.
Plus a putrid line that many people here are still trying to defend makes for a hell of an off season.

This, I dont mind the rebuild. I remember after we lost to the Steelers, a couple old timers on this board said our window has closed and we will be rebuilding. Alot of people didnt want to believe them, but they were right, our window was closing after 2010. I found it hard to believe because had a young Qb, but these guys knew their stuff clearly, and what we are going through now is a youth movement, and rebuilding, Once you peak, you peak. Even New England, it took them 3 years to win another playoff game after 18-0.

We should be on the rise soon, still have to adress a couple more issues,

What the Pats did is very hard to accomplish. They rebuilt while still being a playoff team.

Well thats the difference between an elite QB and not elite.

Thats why even Eli isnt elite, 3 of 4 years now the Giants will have misses postseason. An elite QB can take ANY team and turn them into a contender. Guys like Ben, Rivers, Eli cant do that. Peyton amd Brady are capable of doing it. Brees and Rodgers to possibly.

Yes good QB, you can win with. I feel the upper tier though can be placed on ANY team and get them into the playoffs.

    Sanchez is still a scrub.

Time to basically clean house. Keep Revis, Wilkerson, Coples, and Landry.

Fire T-bum, Rex, Sparano, and every other clueless coach, terry bum-way and every other front office hack.

We always end up with great picks like 3rd round special teams contributor Demario Davis while Seattle is rolling quite possibly into the SB with Russell Wilson. And before anybody bashes me, I know Wilson was taken before Davis.

This franchise is a sick joke.
