i highly,, highly, highly doubt anyone would drop $8 million a year AND a second round pick on Damon Harrison. it would be shocking, in a raiders sort of way. but if it did happen? well goodbye snacks time to scout 2nd rounders, because thats not an offer you match

Who dropped the huge offers on Coles and Thomas in 2003? Just because only a badly managed team would do that doesn't mean it won't happen.

Thomas wasn't a restricted free agent Chad Morton was
Thomas was just an unrestricted free agent

    Coles was restricted free agent

Jets had no cap room that yr......

Holy shit I just clicked on this thread. Are you really telling me that an outside pass rusher was used more to chip wide fucking receivers than to actually rush the QB?

I'm not sure what to laugh about more but I'm really interested in looking at his hosted game film now

Nope, we gave him a 2nd round tender. Other teams can sign a deal with him. We can either match (and keep him) or decide to let him go (and receive a 2nd round pick from the signing team.)

If no one signs a deal with him, we keep him on a very cheap contract.

He is a restricted free agent but otherwise that sums it up.
