so one question... Do you have to connect anything to your computer to get this? lets say I set it up on my TV at home, do I need to attach something to my laptop to watch it?
Download software to your computer and connect through the internet. Oh and if any of you are still living in prehistoric times with dial-up, don't even buy it.
slingbox is the greatest invention ever, ok maybe I am exagerating a bit but to me right now it feels that way. I am out of the country this football season and set up slingbox with a HD DVR at my parents house to watch all football games and any american tv i want. I would be lost without it.
I use FTA receiver. I know, I know they are not legal in USA but I ain't the only one to use em. I stream sport all the time and sell it online for a small amount. I have never streamed NFL though. If there are enough takers out there and want to watch the Jets games, I can probably set it up along with a donation page so that I can recover my cost of renting the server and using the BW. My cricket streams (its an English sport BTW) are about 500kbps and they work great with no buffering or shit like that. Trust me, I know how it feels if you can't get to watch your teams games. I'll post a thread near the start of the season and see if there's enough interest out there. This is no advertising by anymeans, just a way of helping out fellow gang green members.
