How can this end well? When company after company replaces their workers with robots and AI they are for sure lowering their labor costs so that they can make more money on each unit sold. The problem will be, who is going to buy their products or services then? Most likely not the workers who were fired by other companies because they won't have enough money to buy all of the products and services they had been buying while they were still working, including your products or services. So all of these companies will save on labor costs but have fewer sales because a lot of people will run out of money. I guess if only a few workers lose their jobs it might not be a big problem but if too many workers lose their job it will be a big problem.
