    Agreed!

The team looked better without his A$$. F@#$ MEvi$!

Jets could have resigned contributors like Edwards, Cromartie and Harris, but no we get MEvi$ in all his glory. Not to mention the Jets need to resign Santonio too, who will be just as great on offense as MEvi$ thinks he is on defense.

Revis is a giant fucking pussy diva. He was perfectly fine the entire first half until Moss pissed down his throat, then his feelings were hurt so bad he needed his vagina massaged in the locker room for the entire 2nd half. I really do hate this guy - my least favorite Jet in a looong time.

I'm pretty sure you know the difference between being in shape and being in football shape. Revis is a douche.

Randy Moss's jaw-dropping TD catch was on who?

MEvi$ called a HOF receiver in his mid thirties and still a stud a slouch...

Yet he is far from a HOFer and a pussy who is all about ME & $.

The hatred for Revis is juvenile.

As far as Miami is concerned, I think Cro showed yesterday that the Ravens game was just a mostly bad, and not all bad, game for him. I think he can cover Marshall if Revis is still hurting.

Hopefully his feelings aren't hurt for too long. We could use him against Marshall.

There have been a lot of excuses for the Moss TD.

Imagine if it had been against Lowery. Would there be the same excuses?

Bottom line, Revis will NEVER be as good as he was last year. He had a freak year last year.

Now he is injured, overhyped, AND overpaid.

    WSW,

I usually respect your posts, but you sound like someone who has to find something to complain about even when objectively things are going well.

The Jets beat hated NE not even twenty four hours ago, and the hated fish are up next, and you want to hate on Revis instead.

    Just wow.

As for Marshall, the way Cro played yesterday, and considering they really don't have much depth at wr, the Jets will be fine if Revis can't play.

This was all bound to happen for Revis; bottom line I'm glad we have the next three guys after him. If Revis is healthy, play him. If he's not I'm not scared for my life either. Will be nice to have him down the stretch if healthy.

I want to hate on Revis because he pulled a giant bitch move yesterday. He'd already soured on me and that shit just threw gasoline on a fire. Maybe he really did happen to get hurt on that play but I don't remember him pulling up during the play. Moss pissed on him, like he has done to many CB's before, and he couldn't handle it and bailed on his team so he could try to save face. Play like that will really hut his chances for demanding another ransom in 2 years.

I'm stoked we urinated on the Pats, that was a huge win. I'm more stoked at how good the offense looked. I was worried it would take a while to get back on track.

Cro doesn't have a good track record against Marshall, and he will need to tackle very well against him.

    yes....maroons that's it.

Like Rex, last week claiming they had to take it easy with Revis, because he was not quite in game shape yet,

    or

Phil Simms who basically said the WR's and CB's that aren't in camp are prone to this type of injury.

Clearly a couple of knownothing fucktards.

MB, why can't you just man up and admit..you and the others were way off the reservation and wrong?

Yeah, he pulled up at the very end, came down on the left leg awkwardly...I just re-watched it.

But at the end of the day, IF HE WAS IN SHAPE, he's running with Moss, not two yards back and makes that play.

For fact.... doing two-a-days and simulating game conditions. We all trust you and MBgreen know this because both of you were in the Revis Cave this summer helping him prepare and train.

That is just too funny... please tell me this is a patch of sarcasm on your part.

OK - did he pull up while Moss was urinating in his mouth?

You understand that you sound like you are happy Revis is hurt, because you sort of predicted it.

Sounds like you'd rather be right about that than root for what is good for the team, and enjoy the win over NE.

Not much of a fan, imo, to be like that.

But that's all I have to say about it, because I am not going to let you Revis Haters ruin that great win yesterday.

    Mods,

THanks for locking the Revis holdout thread.

I won't believe that he's actually hurt until I hear the results of the MRI. We have every right to bitch about this guy - I laugh at the people who try and "scold" us for doing so.

different scheme. different QB throwing to Marshall too. Not worried, and I dont think Revis will be ready.

I think he's going to be out @ Miami.

    From TheJetsBlog

On what adjustments he saw the Jets defense make…

I think we stuck to our same game plan. They just moved (Antonio Cromartie) onto Randy Moss and did a couple of other things.

On the play of Antonio Cromartie…

He did a great job. He stepped up. We have corners who can step in and he did a great job today.

On if his hamstring felt bad throughout the entire first half…

It felt good pregame and during the game. I was running around with Randy (Moss) the whole time. It wasn’t until he scored, that’s when I pulled up a little bit.

On what part of the play did he feel tightness in his hamstring…

(I felt it) When I tried to open up and run. He kind of got in front of me and that’s when I started feeling it.

On if he got in front of him because of the hamstring…

Yeah, you can say that. It’s just a play that happened. You can’t do anything when that happens. I tried to run as fast as I could. I tried to be there and I couldn’t. It slowed me down a little bit. On top of that, he made a great catch.

On how long he thinks he will be out…

I have no idea. We are just going to go about it day-by-day. I’m just going to keep getting treatment and go from there.

On if it’s classified as a mild or Grade 1 strain…

We don’t know yet. I’m going to get an MRI tomorrow, do a couple of other things to check it out, and then go from there.

On if there is any treatment or if rest is the only thing to do…

Hamstring injuries are really about rest and treatment. But like I said, when I messed it up a little bit before in practice, we did all that we could do to get me ready for Sunday.

    On if it’s now a pull…
No, it’s not a pull. It just tightened up a little bit more.

On if he’s in pain now…
I’m a little sore, (but) not a lot of pain.

On having to watch the second half…

The first thing on my mind was, ‘I want to be out there.’ The second thing is, ‘Stop Tom Brady and that offense.’ I was just crossing my fingers that we would stop those guys.

    No BB...I'm irked over it....

As I said, at the end of the day, he did not gain anything by it.
