Pouha was never cut. Where do people come up with this stuff? Why were people high on him last year? Maybe because he was getting most of the first team's reps in traning camp ahead of Robertson, maybe? Yes, it looked like he was ahead of Robertson on the depth chart before he tore his ACL. I went to plenty of TC, and saw this first hand. But he's trash, a waste, yeah, cut him.
H'mmm if U R saying that I under rate our players they explain why we have won NOTHING just during the Woody era?
Yeah, cause he plays a position where speed is so important and I'm sure they will rush him onto the field before he is fully healed. Look no one said he was going to be the NT for the next 5 years. We're talking about next season and maybe the next. I dont see any reason he cant contribute next season.
The reality is players like this come around all the time, they have "some" potential but never seem to get going. The NFL shelf life is very short and sometimes you have to cut bait on an investment. Pouha seems to be one of these guys. I am writing him off and if he beats the odds, well then good for him, he seem like a good guy. He better come to camp like gangbusters since at his age and track record he has a ton to prove and the competition will be much better. If I had to guess he stays this last year simply because we still won't have a better backup option at the end of camp and will be gone in 2008. He can join a long list of high round draft picks that just never produced ... Reggie Rembert, Alex Van Dyke, Tony Stargell, Anthony Schlegel ...
Your post hit the nail on the head as to why we are what we are & why we have won NOTHING for 38 years
Well at least I saw the NYJs win the VL trophy right? What does having to root for a losing FB team have anything whatsoever to do with real life? You do realize that fans have many other teams also are rooting for losing teams but are very successful in the real world
Actually, no you did not. The trophy was renamed in 1970, so you never saw the Jets win the "Vince Lombardi Trophy".
