I know, it's horrible. Next preseason when Milliner and McDougle are healthy they will look like the second coming of Jesus and Moses combined compared to this crap.

Draft position is a pretty big silver lining. Nothing is worse than continuing mediocrity. We are going no where thsi season so I dont mind losing and getting a top 5 picks. Not sure how I feel about Mariota but someone like Amari Cooper or Andrus Peat would be fantastic.

Yeah we are one game closer to the number 1 pick that's the only silver lining I see.

Harvin looked real good, CJ played good and Vick played solid.

I still don't even remember the names of either of the guys who were playing CB in the 4th quarter and they might be our starting CB's next week.....

If the Village Idzik it still GM next year he has to see what a force Harvin is and what a difference it makes to have him hauling in long bombs for the Jets.

The silver lining is that there is no reason for this team to win another game this year and this keeps us in the hunt for Mariota.

As for Harvin, doubt he is on this team next year.

Why wouldn't we keep him? We can afford him and he looks great out there. Our best offensive weapon by far. Do you think our next coaching team won't see that in him?

Harvin played well but going forward my two concerns are
    A. Is he worth an investment given his injury history?
    B. Is it redundant to have Harvin and Kerley? Harvin can do what kerley does and more but we just signed kerley :-/

I put the chances at around 99% that he's on the team next year

    At his current salary?

I put it at 99% that he gets injured in the next 7 games, but not him being on this team. I just don't think a new regime will want a limited player that is always hurt and that might be a scumbag and locker room cancer on the team at his salary...

The GM that just traded for him is still going to be the GM. It's an obvious restructure with more guarantee for Harvin. 99% he's a Jet next year.

To the Jets credit they used Harvin as a deep threat today and he was good for 129 yards receiving. A much better use of his skills than the gadget plays the Seahawks featured for him during his stint in Seattle.
