You are mistaken, Show me where I ever said sacks were the measurable to use to grade a 3-4 DE? I never siad any such thing, and again, you are mistaken. Seymour had more sacks than Ellis did. Ellis had far more tackles and assists. Yet I said Ellis was more productive. A good 3-4 DE should have at least some sacks... and Igor's 2.2 average isn't enough. That does not mean I judge 3-4 DE's on sacks. Get that through yer brain already. Good DE's still get pressure on the QB. They are still supposed to get penetration in their rushing lane. They are still supposed to make tackles. Igor does a poor job in these categories. I think the guy lives on rep, muscles and tats. SD hasn't even bothered to try and sign him. Doesn't that say something?
You must have researched this post and called upon all of your football accumen to make such a convincing arguement.
None of the Chargers? four unrestricted free agents ? Marques Harris, Mike Goff, Igor Olshansky and Jeremy Newberry ? signed deals Friday, and there were no reports of them visiting potential new teams. Smith announced Thursday that the Chargers wouldn?t pursue the four players, thanked them and wished them well. http://www.chargers.com/news/headlines/chargers-stand-pat.htm Poor Igor... not only is he being ignored, there are three teams switching to the 3-4 this year: GB, KC and Denver, but no interest in Olshansky. Not even a visit. SD has no interest in signing him either. He must be really good.
1. Al Groh resigned to coach in college at UVA - to this day, I don't know why? 2. Stop trying to be EXACTLY like JetsLookingForDWare - just because he was banned, doesn't mean you can take his avatar and call it your's.
1. Groh was advised by Parcells to resign after the players tanked on him to avoid the indignity of being fired by Woody Johnson. 2. Do you need a hug? It seems like you need a hug.
I believe he posted a misleading thread. so he was banned. but i dont think we should get Igor. Especially since Canty is off the wire. With our 17th pick we take a DE or WR.
