True story: I was working with a Steeler fan for a 12 hour shift and after about 4 hours of me going at him hard over Ben Roethlisberger and his rape allegations he blurted out "well no means maybe". Not true. Per the NFL yesterday, they do not place unrestricted free agents on the commissioner's exempt list. If a team were to sign Brown, the league would make its decision. If he were placed on the list, it would be because of his alleged intimidating text to the latest woman to accuse him. Don't forget he was cut very quickly after that text came to light, so the league had no chance to put him on the list on that basis before the Patriots released him.
