Then he didn’t follow his own rule. Quincy Enunwa was his top receiver

    Thanks!

    A big NO to Brown.

  6. Drafted by prior regime;Pretty much the only pick they didnt butcher other than Sheldon Richardson & Dakota stinking Dozier. Always had hopes for William Campbell..wonder what happened there.

    Sign him.

After watching our fist two games, to quote Jamal Adams, we need DOGS. The players HATE losing, and would see Brown as a great weapon for Sam and see him as a bunch of wins, maybe even the POs.

I'm not speaking as a fan, but as a player. We've already seen our team frustrated and about to give up on the season. Bringing Brown in tells the players the FO is 100% committed to winning NOW, which would mean the world to the players.

Sign him. Flip the script on the Pats for once.

Maybe sit Bell down and ask him straight up....yes or no.

    True story:

I was working with a Steeler fan for a 12 hour shift and after about 4 hours of me going at him hard over Ben Roethlisberger and his rape allegations he blurted out "well no means maybe". I in turn asked him if that is what he taught his 16 hear old son...

Watching him squirm and turn red faced was oh so satisfying.

That being said I really don't care what the guys do on the team's I root for. While it's nicer being able to root for the person as well as the player - I know that these guys aren't boy scouts. If it doesn't upset the chemistry then bring him in.

Yeah...it's great to have "character" guys on your favorite team.

Shit..one Sam Darnold can makeup for a bunch of scumbags on our team

Mac also traded for woman beater Brandon Marshall. So I guess he didn’t follow his own rule twice

AB is no longer a legally sane person.

I wonder how much of it is a direct result of Vontaze Burfict.

So the League feels there is still not enough there to place him on the exempt list which keeps him a free agent free to sign wherever, while Beli deems him enough of a distraction to cut....whose judgement do you side with?

My goodness, would you take Belichick's nuts off your face for a second?

Nothing like Pats fans trying desperately to credit Belichick with releasing a player they never should have tampered with or signed to begin with.

They released him only to try and recoup some money owed before it's too late.
It's a bad look for NE all around.. Own it.

Not true. Per the NFL yesterday, they do not place unrestricted free agents on the commissioner's exempt list. If a team were to sign Brown, the league would make its decision. If he were placed on the list, it would be because of his alleged intimidating text to the latest woman to accuse him. Don't forget he was cut very quickly after that text came to light, so the league had no chance to put him on the list on that basis before the Patriots released him.

You spelled "DON'T SIGN" wrong in the title.

Brown has a bad case of CTE and is declining mentally. This would just be another stepping stone on the way to the loony bin. I don't think the Jets want to bring in a guy under sexual assault investigation.

Would be up for it but it wont happen...If we could somehow trade Trumaine Johnson and free up some space then it would be epic.

As long as he's a FA, there's no need to place I'm on the exempt list. They can investigate with no pressure as far as time goes
