I think most people would like an upbeat confident coach who is open and honest about the football decisions that they're making.

Maybe it's a different sport but have you ever listened to Joe Girardi Yankee press conferences and interviews. Whether its questions about players, lineup, game situations he tells you his thought process. He's open and available to the press/media he gives what the fans want, in sight to whats going on. He doesn't try to cover up and hide anything. By doing so we the fans understand the difficult decisions he has to make. We may not agree with his decisions but we respect his knowledge and honesty. I don't get that with Rex. Instead its all bluster and bravado when he is winning and defensiveness and avoidance after losses. You rarely get answers that are intelligent and insightful, rather they're couched in half jokes or make no sense.

Ever listen to a Giants interview like Eli Manning he tells it like it is. He's also able to articulate what happened in a game. What he was thinking on a passing play etc. You don't get any of that with the Jets. We are left to speculate.
