Let's not forget Marshall. Although not a FA, a very solid move that addressed a serious need for this team.
Current Wish List: Fitzpatrick ($4 million/year), Cromartie ($5 million/year), Culliver ($6 million/year), Worilds ($5 million/year), Bulaga ($8 million), Moore ($5 million) = $33 million, we're at $37 million, cutting Harvin brings us to $47.5 million, plenty left over to fill out the rest of the roster. Starting Lineups: QB: Fitzpatrick RB: Ivory WR: Marshall, Decker, Kerley OT: Ferguson, Bulaga OG: Carpenter, Giacomini C: Mangold DE: Wilkerson, Richardson NT: Harrison OLB: Coples, Worilds MLB: Davis, Harris CB: Cromartie, Culliver S: Pryor, Moore Draft: BPA Thoughts?
Not really, very few were complaining during Tannenbaum. And the people whining about not being aggressive in free agency in 2013 and 2014 were, in fact, correct in their "whining" as evidenced by our 4-12 record last year
This is very misleading. If you meant SOME fans are always complaining, it's not even worth hitting the post button for an insignificant observation like that. But if you mean to suggest most Jet fans are chronic complainers about too conservative an approach in FA before Idzik, I don;t think there's any merit to that. Got examples? And those who complained about too little effective action by Idzik in FA were right. It's why he got fired.
Actually during the pre 2008 Tanny era the Jets didn't do anything, it wasn't until the crazzzzyness of the Favre trade that anybody expected anything from Tanny. Then Rex showed up and draft picks turned into Tannybucks
