I understand that we are running a man blocking scheme. That doesn't mean that the blocking has to consist almost entirely of each guy firing straight forward and engaging defenders head to head. Even in man schemes, you can still create blocking angles and pull guards, tackles or even the center depending on the play. They've started doing this more and more as of late. Granted, Slauson still blocks the wrong guy more than half the time, but it's still good to see. San Fran also employs a Man/power blocking scheme. Watch a few series of plays from them and notice all the different angles that they block from. I'd wager that it would be easier to count up the number of running plays where they don't pull, trap, wham, etc, but instead, just block straight ahead. Hell, they pull guards on play action passes.
If a touchdown is not scored by the half, sit his ass (assuming they don't do it before the half, which is certainly possible)
they did, his name is stephen hill. he is just going thru his rookie lumps. in 2 years you will be ordering his jersey off some chinese knock off site
If Hill doesn't get a new set of hands, chinese knock off sites will be the only place selling Hill jerseys in 2 years.
How many receivers do they need to draft? Our receiving corp isn't that bad, Hill will develop into a solid player, Kerley is a nice slot receiver, and Holmes is solid, they just need a good/decent veteran receiver that can stretch the field.
Cut the bullshit. Hill is a rookie, yes, and I think he has good upside if he can soften his hands up a bit (i.e game 1 vs Buf), but he's not great right now and our coaching is god awful. Kerley is a stud slot guy. Holmes has his days. But c'mon if you think Schillens, Gates, and co are any good. Gates can't run a fucking route properly. (the reason why Miami CUT his ass). Schillens, there's a reason why the Raiders cut him..
