Whats with all the Deangelo Hall criticism??? He shut down our WR's a few weeks ago and he is a huge improvement over Lowery or any other corners this team has not named Revis. Do you all see how bad the pass D is at times? He would definitely help the D if he came at a reasonable price.

Except he's had several on-field incidents. Remember the game against the Panthers last year where he had like 75 yards in penalties in 1 drive? I think that ultimately wound up costing them the game. Furthermore, he's been involved in his share of scuffles and trash-talking; the guy is a liability to the D because you never know when he's going to explode -- and when it happens on a crucial 3rd Down to lose the game, then you'll be wondering why we acquired him.

Having said all that, if Mangini interviews him and thinks he can tame him and keep his attitude in check, and if he comes cheap, I'd still roll the dice. He'd have to learn the D, but he has the skills as a #2 CB. However, the first unsportsmanlike penalty he's guilty of, I'd bench him to teach him a lesson.

It's not that unrealistic depending on his asking price. Hall is the type of guy who'd want to play in NY/NJ because he seeks attention, which he'll get in a big market.

Problem is, Mangini won't go after him because he doesn't rescue puppies from fires like Eric Smith does. And I think Belichick might be nearing desperation so he may push hard for Hall.

Do you want to see the Pats or the Colts get him?

Obviously it would be worse for us if the Pats got him, but he would also help the Colts who are usually along the path if you make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

Going after 24yr old DeAngelo Hall & lining him up opposite Revis is genius. Dude...Its a no-brainer & Jets' better beat the Pats, Cowboys, & rest of NFL teams to his services.

This same Hall guy helped shutdown the Jets' WR's this season. REMEMBER

Doesnt anyone want to have cap room to build depth in the trenches next year? You wont need D Hall with a sick pass rush... I would love 2 have another good CB but not D Hall... I would like someone smarter and alot more physical...Lowery and our pass D would both benefit by drafting a solid saftey to play along Rhodes... FUCK D Hall.. we dont need him

Would we actually be able to sign this guy ? An if we could i rather go with Javon Walker. He still has some speed and his chemistry with favre in the past barring favres approval we could go after him instead. Doubt we get either one though.
