You forgot the Aboushi was drafted by Idzik, so doesn't that mean that their is no chance of that happening being his drafts were so horrible?
And a 75% chance he'll join ISIS. Remember that Front Page Magazine troll article and the stupid anti-Muslim shitstorm it generated? http://www.frontpagemag.com/2013/jo...yer-speaks-at-extreme-anti-israel-conference/ http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...s-on-palestinian-nfl-player-oday-aboushi.html# on-topic - what a coup for DAL. Just imagine: in addition to landing Williams at #6, the Jets being able to address the OL by snatching another beast (post 7th rd. no less) just sitting on a silver platter for the taking.
I also wasn't connected as close to the case as dating the kids mom and possibly being it's father. There's a reason an organization with no regards for class signed him and fully guaranteed his contract. If he gets pulled back into the investigation in a month Dallas is going to look mighty stupid for not letting this play out and guaranteeing him a mill and a half for three years regardless of what happens. He must not have a publicist because a publicist would most likely have made a public statement by now regarding the murder.
He did nothing wrong as far as we know. Nothing at all. I am still waiting for your statement of apology.
Apparently you don't read too well. I wasn't connected to the woman by dating her or possibly impregnating her. I have no obligation to make a statement about her and I have no negative publicity from it as a result of her death. I don't have NFL teams looking at me to evaluate and identify my character possibly influencing their want to sign me as a contributor to their franchise. He could turn a negative into a positive character trait by simply saying he's remorseful for the world's loss as a result of her and her child's death. Instead he's worried about his second NFL contract. These guys aren't robots, but showing human emotions in situations like this does nothing but HELP an NFL players image. He has hurt his image on his own more so than he needed to regardless of the poor timing of the investigation.
Paternity test was negative. Just because he went on a date with her does not mean he owes you or anyone else anything.
You're really missing the point in the fact that all of that is a null point. He could've helped his image and had he been surrounded with smarter professionals he would've released a two Sentence statement regarding the two dead people he was connected to. It's not about what was right or was wrong my point is he came across as a greedy bastard talking about his second contract rather than the two dead folks he was connected to. You're missing the point and have some weird allegiance to this guy. For that you better hope nothing ever surfaces with him in closer connection to this case or else you and Jerry Jones look like morons running to his defense before he's fully cleared.
I get your point but I am disagreeing with you. Innocent people generally do not apologize to the public or make some kind of statement like the one you described. Usually these words come from people who are trying to cover their ass. While it may have been nice for him to say a couple kind words about the victims his agent and his attorney wisely told him that the less he said about it the better since he had no involvement in the actual crime. Collins unlike you was just minding his own business.
"I am sorry for what I wasn't responsible for - but I want you to know I am a nice guy; nice enough to apologize for things I wasn't responsible for. Got it?" Very convincing, eh? I'd give it 0/10.
