Buncha whiny babies. That's what we get when NO ONE believes in us. If we start handing it to Indianapolis next week, I'm sure we'll be seeing some extracurricular antics.
i just love watching cromardie pussy out on trying to make a play. Physical pounding takes a toll on the D - they hope someone else will make a play. I started screaming and woke up my 2 week old son...my wife was non to pleased at that moment.
I got off the couch and started moving toward the TV yelling, "Go, go, go!" Prior to the play, I was happy that the Jets were winning, but it was too close for comfort. When he hit the end zone with no flags, it was the greatest Jets moment I've had in years.
The still pic of Shonn head on with Weddle on the ground with that look of sadness on his face is priceless Edit: found the pic
I think not enuf props have been given to Greene for the great blocking he did on Sanchez's rollout TD pass to Keller. Greene also can block too..
And to think that this was one of the knocks on this kid coming out of school. Greene was one of the steals of the draft, and a great pick for us.
The only pick from the draft that hasn't had WOW factor is Slauson, so far. Be great if he turned into Fanaca's replacement.
I think it's more possible that Robert Turner takes over when Faneca leaves, but I think we'll be seeing more of Slauson next season. Pulling guards are pretty hard to find, hopefully he catches on.
The only time I was louder during the game was the leonhard forced fumble that was overturned. This morning on waking my partner said I only woke her twice and one the second occasion she knew the Jets had won. neighbours on either side also asked what the hell was going on as they thought about calling the cops when they heard my demented cursing. Thankfully they didn't As for the Greene TD I was a little stunned and numb once he broke through to the second level and trucked Weddle. Heart in mouth stuff
Exactly. It's in stark contrast to the straight man played by Mangini. When the players LOVE the coach and are also playing for the love of the game you have that extra ingredient for success
Here a highlight reel from the entire game. After Greene's TD run the camera goes into the stands to show about 100 Jets fans going abosulutely NUTS!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_lg5whm1h4 BTW - his run comes at 3:29.
Lol, c'mon now. I'm loving what Greene's done for us and have no doubt he can be our feature back next year/in the future, but when Leon played he always played great and he always played his heart out for us. If he returns back to full fitness we could obviously use all the help he can surely provide for us.
I would kinda of sorta agree if Greene can catch out of the backfield, he can't at this point. Leon can and he takes carries away from Greene. Greene runs too hard and you can not give him 300 carries a year. He will be a dead man in 2 years. Btw I know you were being sarcastic.........
