I think it's better that Greene doesnt get too many carries BECAUSE of his running style.. He is a big bruising back and they typically have short careers and lots of injuries because they like to hit so much. Shonn is running VERY hard and I'm not disappointed at all. LT is getting GREAT blocking which allows him to be so productive. If Greene was in there getting all the touches he would be able to do the same thing.. Its just great that we have 2 great running backs on our team... LT is playing at a high level right now because he is running with purpose.. He still has something left to prove.. thank god he's doing it for us!!
I'm actually seeing Shonn run slightly more tentatively...almost like he doesn't want to fumble. He's not playing terrible, but im not seeing the fire I saw at the end of last season.
What sucked about him getting banged up and coming out yesterday was I thought he was really starting to pick up steam and looked like he was running hard. I have no doubt he would have punched in a TD if not for all those penalties when he bulled his way inside the 5 yard line.
I agree to an extent, I think he's running hard, but you can see that he doesn't wanna cough up the football, and that's effecting him somewhat He needs to go out and have a good game this weekend to lift his confidence.
