I assume you aren't taking into consideration the botched punt. I know....two completely different animals, but he still put the ball on the turf in a bad way last week.
Looks like the Greene darksiders are out in full force. Unfortunately, I am one of them. I hope Powell or McKnight shows something tonight that they can be a contributor at RB the rest of the year. Im not giving up on Greene, but he needs to get better.
I don't have anything against Greene, I just feel like he's better suited for a backup role. He's effective against worn down defenses.
McKnight's 121 scrimmage yards are more than Shonn Greene has posted in all but one of his 39 career regular-season games. Time to pass the torch.
Ive thought this all along, Greene would be a great #2 back but carrying the workload I just don't think he can do. We need a spark in the run game. LT gave us a little of that but we need more. Some big runs and then pound with Greene. If we don't have that our offense becomes so much less successful.
