i don't but every game I watch the reds he either walks or Ks in a big spot, where manny hits a lot of runscoring singles and doubles in those situations. my point was manny is a great all aroung hitter, dunn is a slugger with a good eye

This is why we look at stats rather then rely on our "gut" or anecdotal evidence. When you're talking about offensive production it really comes down to 2 things, your ability to get on base and your ability to hit for power. Dunn is excellent at both these things. Getting on base is always a good thing, despite what Dusty Baker may say.

getting on base is very good, but you can't get an RBI walk unless the bases are loaded

But you can get an RBI with a home run, no matter how many people are on base. Unless you've watched every inning of Reds baseball the last few years, what it seems like he does really doesn't mean a damned thing.

The bottom line is he has 27 RBI's and 11 homeruns over the 30 days and he is hitting close to .300

Overall he has 8 more HR's than anybody else on the Mets and 10 less RBI's than Wright and would be 2nd best on the team 5 more than Delgado and 1 more than Beltran. Now if you are looking at his .241 batting avg but he has played in 102 games which would fit right in with Wright, Reyes and both Carlos's.
